Strike Club will be focused on the fundamental aspects of Kick Boxing, Clinch Work and Ground & Pound. There will be an emphasis on partner drills, footwork, and balance, as well as the proper mechanics of throwing and defending punches, kicks, elbows, knees from all three phases of combat: Free Movement, Clinch and Ground work. Techniques learned in this class will be applicable to self-defense, competition and functional fitness. This class is available to all youth ages 8-15. No experience is necessary.
What You Need to Know:
Strike Club will run on Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 and be taught by veteran mixed martial arts coach, Ryan Cunningham .
Space for this program is limited to the first 12 accepted applicants.
Strike Club Gear Requirements– Boxing Gloves, Shin Guards, Head Gear and Mouth Piece.
